Max Goes to the Emergency Room

On Dec 23 of 07 Max was feeling really bad. He couldn't even walk so Scott and I decided to take him to the Doggie ER. After many hours of waiting and crying the surgeon told us that Max had eaten a popsicle stick!! URGHHHH He had perforated his intestines so off to surgery he went. About 2 hours later the Doctor told us that she had to remove 2 feet of his intestines. Max was able to come home on wed Dec 26 and on Dec 27th i had to taken back to the ER because he was bleeding from his incision. He stayed there over the weekend and was able to come home Dec 31st. Max is doing so much better now. I have to give him lots of medicines and iv fluids and some shots but he is looking better and better each day.

Ofcource he hates his new addition to his wardrobe but if all goes well he will be able to get rid of the E-Coller by next week.
